Check-in

Room check-in is possible from 15:00 at the latest. Of course you are allowed to check in earlier, if your room is not ready yet, a luggage depot is at your disposal. If you arrive later than 20:00, please let us know shortly.

Check-out

We ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am on the day of departure. Please understand that in case of high occupancy, the parking lot is also available until 11:00 am. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the reception.

You can pay your open bill on the day of departure in cash, with EC-Direct, Postcard, Mastercard or Visa.

Deposit
For direct bookings we ask for a deposit, for online bookings please deposit a valid credit card as guarantee.

Pricing Policy
A base price based on room category, duration and season is the same for all guests. For children and extra beds, dogs, packed lunches, etc. we charge an extra fee as this means extra work. Thus, we pursue a transparent and fair pricing policy.

Cancellation conditions
Cancellation is possible free of charge in winter up to 30 days, in summer up to 7 days before arrival (for group bookings other conditions apply). If this is done later, 100% will be charged. Should we succeed in reselling the booked arrangement or parts thereof at least at the same price, these will not be charged. Excluded from this are external services (e.g. humor festival tickets, ski passes, etc.).

To protect both parties from inconvenience, we recommend taking out travel/cancellation insurance.

By public transport
A trip to Arosa by train is always worthwhile. The last 30km in the small red train (RhB) from Chur through the picturesque valley Schanfigg are an experience. Although the train takes you up, you are already going down and can relax. From Arosa train station the free bus goes in the direction of Hörnli. Get off at the bus stop Parkhaus/ Innerarosa and walk another 2 minutes to us.

Cabs are also available right at the train station to take you directly to our hotel entrance. The ride takes no more than 5 minutes (cost approx. CHF 15-20.-).

By car
From Chur a 30km long and very winding road leads you to Arosa. You can find the current road condition report here

Free parking is available in front of the hotel. These can neither be reserved nor guaranteed, “as het so langs het”. Alternatively, the parking garage “Brüggli” in the immediate vicinity.

Night driving ban
A general night driving ban applies in Arosa from 24.00-06.00 hrs. However, access and departure as well as cab or night bus rides are permitted. (Sledges and bicycles are of course also excluded from this😉)

(E-) gas station
Right at the entrance to Arosa is a gas station incl. Store. Four charging stations are available for electrically powered cars in the “Brüggli” parking garage.

In our cozy Sunnastuba you can help yourself daily to the rich breakfast buffet. Here we attach great importance to fresh and regional products, what we can, we get from Arosa, with the rest we do not go beyond the Swiss border.

In winter, in the evenings we serve “homemade dishes” from our small menu (we ask for a reservation no later than 17:00). Once a week there is also a fondue evening (for this we ask for reservation the day before until 17.00).

Pets suitable for hotel (quiet and clean) are welcome (no access to the restaurant). But we ask for registration, because only rooms without carpet will be allocated. The surcharge is CHF 10.00 / night.

Fresh terry linen probably everyone likes. With us you decide what we exchange, please put the dirty laundry on the bathroom floor.

Ski room
You can conveniently store your ski and snowboard equipment in our ski room, a boot dryer is also available. The ski slopes are within a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Sledge rental
For sledding fun, a limited number of sleds are available for rent with us. For CHF 10.00 per sled and day, these can be obtained at the reception.
