Location and arrival
Due to the unique location of our house, you can reach the ski area, the ski school, the toboggan run and the hiking trails (winter and summer) in just 3 minutes on foot. The bike trails lead directly past the house. From the Brüggli bus stop (free bus) right outside the front door, you can easily reach the village center, the train station, the Hörnli-Express, the cross-country ski trails and the 18-hole Maran golf course.
Coming from all directions, drive through the alpine town of “Chur”, from there the legendary and winding 45-minute drive to Arosa comes.
Stay on the Hauptstrasse / Poststrasse – pass the Obersee on the right side, the Postplatz, the center and after approx. 2 km you will reach Innerarosa. After the Grischuna restaurant, turn right and immediately see the entrance to the Hotel Sonnenhalde on the left.

A train journey to Arosa is a pleasure. Start your vacation at home. Intercity / express train from various German and Swiss cities to Chur. From Chur with the Rhaetian Railway in 60 minutes to Arosa. From Arosa train station, take the free bus in the direction of Hörnli Express to the Brüggli / parking garage / ski school stop – then 2 min. on foot to the Hotel Sonnenhalde. We would be happy to organize a taxi for you.
